Art Therapy
Art therapy offers a gentle yet powerful way to explore and express complex thoughts and feelings through creativity, supported by a qualified art therapist. Rather than relying solely on words, it uses art-making as a natural and accessible means of communication which can help when experiences feel difficult to talk about directly. Art Therapy encourages insight, self-compassion, and a greater sense of self-worth. No artistic experience is required and there will never be judgement made about creative skills or the quality of artwork made. In the UK, the titles 'art therapist' and 'art psychotherapist' are protected by law, and all practitioners must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), ensuring the highest standards of safe and ethical practice.
